What does Matt Do?

Matt Gladwin is a specialist dog and equine photographer who works on location, capturing the true character, spirit and beauty of your animals. With a relaxed, natural approach, he creates a comfortable setting where every personality can shine, from the playful energy of a dog to the quiet strength of a horse.

Each image is carefully crafted and artistically finished, turning fleeting moments into timeless works of art to be treasured for years to come.

Matt took some amazing photos of my dog Rigby. His attention to detail and natural eye for composition, angles, and backdrops is clear in every shot. He was friendly, professional, and great to work with. I couldn’t be happier with the photos and would highly recommend him”

FAQs

  • Matt always prioritises the dog’s safety, nothing comes before that. Most dogs remain on a lead during the session, but a bit of clever editing means the final images look entirely natural.

  • If it’s just a little light rain or overcast skies, Matt can carry on with the session as planned.

If the weather, however, looks like it could be unsafe or might affect the quality of the photos, he’ll happily rearrange the session for a better day,at no extra cost.

Matt keeps a careful eye on the forecast in the lead-up to every session, and if it looks like the weather could be tricky, he’ll get in touch to talk through the best options. For our equine friends, the situation is different. Usually, Jessica will travel to you unless you do not have an indoor arena, dark barn or similar on site. We can hire spaces as needed, so don’t worry - we can work it out.

  • The cost of your session is £95, which includes a £50 credit towards your wall art.

You can take a look at our wall art options on the sessions page, and we’re happy to send full product guides if you’d like to see them before booking. Most of our clients tend to invest between £500 and £2000 in their session and the artwork they choose afterwards.
